Engineering-backed honey factory for private-label and global supply
ASPIRE INTERNATIONAL · MOHALI, PUNJAB, INDIA
Source honey from an Indian honey factory that brings together beekeeping knowledge, food safety systems and packaging engineering. Aspire International processes and bottles honey for private-label brands, importers, wholesalers, foodservice businesses and international supermarkets.
From our own small apiaries and regional sourcing network to finished retail packs, our work connects the agricultural origin of honey with the practical requirements of commercial supply. We export honey to over 20 countries and help buyers specify the honey, packaging and documentation their market needs.
FSSC 22000
Certified food manufacturing system for honey and fruit jams.
Packaging-led origins
Established in 2021, with experience in food-grade PET packaging and corrugated cartons.
Commercial supply
Bulk, retail, private-label and single-serve honey formats.
What is a honey factory?
A honey factory receives bee-produced honey, checks it against specifications, processes it under controlled conditions and packs it for sale or further food manufacturing. Depending on its business model, it may also manage apiaries, source from beekeepers, bottle private-label products and arrange export supply. Bees make the honey; the factory prepares and protects it for its intended commercial use.
Aspire International combines scientific beekeeping, responsible sourcing, honey processing and versatile packaging. For a buyer, this means the conversation can cover both the honey inside the pack and the pack that reaches the shelf.
| Term | Typical role | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Honey factory / processing plant | The physical operation where honey is processed and packed. | Site identity, relevant certification scope and packing capability. |
| Honey manufacturer / bottler | Controls processing, filling and finished-product specifications. | Who actually processes your order and releases each batch? |
| Honey producer | May refer to a beekeeper or a business supplying processed honey. | Whether the honey comes from owned apiaries, sourcing partners or both. |
| Honey supplier / trader | Sells honey; may own a factory or buy from other processors. | Manufacturing location, traceability and responsibility for quality. |
Who runs Aspire International’s honey factory?
Aspire International was founded in 2021 by Ankit Pal Singh, a mechanical engineer and trained beekeeper with practical experience in quality systems, production and international food business. His background connects product development with factory operations: the honey specification, bottle, closure, label and shipper carton need to work together.
Factory director and mentor Mr S P Singh, founder of Ess Pee Quality Products, brings more than 30 years of experience in the honey industry. Aspire International builds on that leadership experience while maintaining its own company identity and food manufacturing scope.
Ankit Pal Singh also has FSPCA Preventive Controls Qualified Individual training. The company was established under the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme, implemented through KVIC under the Ministry of MSME, Government of India. This is enterprise-development support, separate from food safety certification.
Honey manufacturer and supplier in Punjab, India
Aspire International is based in Mohali, Punjab, India. Our honey sourcing network extends across Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Haryana and other producing regions. We also conduct scientific beekeeping and harvest honey from our own small apiaries; commercial supply is not represented as coming exclusively from company-owned hives.
For international buyers, sourcing from India opens a conversation about different floral origins, seasonal supply and packaging choices. Region alone does not establish a honey’s identity or quality. The useful starting point is the actual batch specification, its sourcing records and the evidence supporting any floral claim.
At the apiary
We encourage hygienic extraction, responsible colony management and harvesting that preserves adequate reserves for bee health.
Across the sourcing network
Supplier relationships support communication about harvesting, handling, treatment controls and traceability.
At the factory
Defined specifications connect incoming honey with processing, packing and the buyer’s finished-product requirement.
Factory location: Plot 130, MK Technology Park, Tangori, Banur–Landran Road, Mohali, Punjab 140306, India. View Aspire International’s Gulfood exhibitor profile.
Bulk, retail, private-label and single-serve honey
Choose the supply format around how you will sell or use the product. A retail importer needs a shelf-ready consumer pack; a food manufacturer needs an ingredient specification and a manageable bulk format. A hospitality distributor may need individually sealed portions with suitable case counts.
Bulk and wholesale honey
For commercial ingredient use, repacking and wholesale distribution. Specify the honey type, total quantity, handling requirements and preferred bulk container.
Retail honey
For supermarkets, independent retail and distributors. Match the pack weight, dispensing format and case configuration to your shelf and customer.
Private-label and OEM honey
Honey processed and packed for your brand. Agree the product specification, pack, artwork and export requirements before production.
Single-serve honey
Portion formats for hotels, catering and convenient individual use. Confirm the portion weight, opening experience, secondary pack and order quantity.
Honey types and varieties available for buyer enquiries
Our honey range includes multiflora, acacia, litchi and forest honey. Availability depends on harvest conditions and the specification required. “Bee honey” describes the natural product broadly; it is not a separate floral variety.
| Honey type | How to approach the specification | Useful buyer request |
|---|---|---|
| Multiflora honey | Honey associated with multiple floral sources. | An agreed sensory profile and batch specification for repeat orders. |
| Acacia honey | A named floral-origin requirement. | Evidence supporting the botanical claim and confirmation of current availability. |
| Litchi honey | A floral selection linked to litchi flowering and harvest supply. | A representative sample and origin information for the offered batch. |
| Forest honey | A sourcing description that needs clarification. | Ask whether the offer is blossom honey, honeydew honey or a mixture. |
| Bee honey | A broad product description, not a distinct botanical source. | Define the actual variety, quality specification and intended pack. |
For floral labelling, Codex links the claimed source to the honey’s origin and corresponding sensory, compositional and microscopic characteristics. A name should follow supporting evidence, rather than colour alone. [1]
From responsibly sourced honey to a finished bottle
Honey bottling is a sequence of decisions about incoming material, handling, processing and packaging. Aspire International’s engineering-led approach focuses on defined parameters and documented checks. The following stages describe the production journey; the exact process is agreed for the honey and packaging selected.
01 · Source and receive
Identify the source and incoming lot, review the condition of the honey and maintain the records needed to connect receipt with subsequent batches.
02 · Assess and approve
Evaluate incoming honey against the agreed specification. Resolve suitability before allocating material to a customer’s production order.
03 · Control processing
Manage warming where needed, filtration and moisture control to prepare honey for consistent handling and filling.
04 · Prepare the batch
Bring the approved honey to the required batch condition and maintain its identity through processing and storage.
05 · Fill and close
Pack into the selected food-grade container, check fill quantity and closure integrity, and apply the agreed identification.
06 · Pack and release
Check labels, batch codes and case configuration before dispatch against the confirmed order requirements.
What should “low-temperature processing” mean?
Ask for a defined time–temperature approach for the product offered. We do not publish an unsupported fixed processing temperature or describe every bottled honey as unheated. Codex requires processing to avoid impairing honey quality or changing its essential composition. [1]
How we approach honey purity and batch consistency
Aspire International’s food safety approach connects responsible sourcing, defined product specifications, traceability and process control. Purity should be supported by evidence for the honey being purchased. Agree the required analyses and acceptance criteria before placing the order, including any testing required by the destination market.
| Control area | What to agree or review | Why the buyer needs it |
|---|---|---|
| Moisture content | Our stated target is 17–18%; confirm it in the order specification and batch results. | A measurable product requirement rather than a visual judgement. |
| HMF | Our stated target is below 40 mg/kg; confirm the agreed limit and batch result. | A specified analytical criterion; do not confuse HMF with moisture. |
| Authenticity / adulteration | Agree the appropriate test panel and request applicable reports. | No specific laboratory method or every-batch test coverage is implied by this page. |
| Residues and contaminants | Identify destination requirements and the supporting analyses needed. | The purchase specification should match the market where honey will be sold. |
| Traceability | Review source-lot, production-batch and finished-pack identification. | Connect the honey purchased with the material processed and dispatched. |
| Packing controls | Agree fill weight, closure, label, code and case checks. | The delivered pack must match the approved commercial specification. |
These product targets are commercial specifications, not a substitute for market requirements or a certificate of analysis. For context, Codex sets a general moisture maximum of 20% for most honey, with exceptions. [1]
Colour, thickness and crystallisation alone do not establish compliance with an authenticity specification. Compare documentary evidence and relevant test results with the agreed purchase criteria. For repeat orders, retain the agreed specification and record any approved changes to honey selection or packaging.
FSSC 22000, registrations and manufacturing evidence
Aspire International operates an FSSC 22000-certified food manufacturing system for honey and fruit jams, holds US FDA food facility registration and is registered with APEDA, India. Buyers can request the relevant documents for supplier approval.
| Credential | What it supports | Buyer verification |
|---|---|---|
| FSSC 22000 | Certification of the food safety management system within its stated scope. | Check the legal entity, factory address, honey processing scope and validity. |
| US FDA registration | Food facility registration. | Review current registration information. Registration is not FDA approval of a facility or its products. |
| APEDA registration | The company’s stated registration with India’s agricultural and processed-food export authority. | Request the registration document and confirm its relevant details. |
| Gulfood exhibitor profile | A public trade-event listing describing honey processing and private labelling. | Use it to corroborate company identity; it does not certify product purity. |
| PMEGP / KVIC background | The enterprise’s establishment under the stated government programme. | Distinguish enterprise support from product certification or endorsement. |
FSSC provides a public register for checking certification status. FDA explains the distinction between registration and approval in its food facility registration guidance. Aspire’s Gulfood profile provides additional business context.
Honey packaging engineered around your market
The right honey pack depends on dispensing, shelf presentation, handling and order economics. Aspire International’s packaging background began with food-grade PET jars and bottles and corrugated shippers. That experience informs how primary packs and secondary packaging are developed together.
| Format | Typical application | Details to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Glass jars | Retail and private-label shelf presentation. | Shape, fill weight, cap, label area and transit protection. |
| PET jars and bottles | Retail distribution and everyday dispensing. | Bottle profile, fill weight, closure and food-contact suitability. |
| Squeeze bottles and bear formats | Convenient consumer dispensing. | Nozzle, cap, orientation and label compatibility. |
| Mini jars, portion blisters and honey spoons | Hospitality, catering and single-serve supply. | Portion weight, opening, seal and units per secondary pack. |
| Doypacks, jerrycans and buckets | Selected retail, foodservice or wholesale requirements. | Current format availability, fill quantity and handling needs. |
| Bulk containers | Ingredient users and commercial repackers. | Container specification, net weight and unloading arrangements. |
Primary pack, shipper and retail display
Our in-house secondary packaging capability includes 3-ply and 5-ply corrugated cartons. We can develop case dimensions, product fit, printed identification and retail-ready formats around the selected pack. Tear-away display cartons should balance transport protection with practical opening and shelf presentation.
Discuss units per case, barcode locations, shipping marks, artwork languages and pallet requirements together. An attractive jar is only one part of an export-ready pack.
Private-label and OEM honey for your brand
Private-label honey means Aspire International processes and packs honey under your brand according to an agreed specification. OEM requirements may include your selected bottle, label, pack weight, case configuration and market-specific presentation. The objective is a finished product that fits your commercial brief and can be repeated on subsequent orders.
Define the product
Choose the honey type, sensory expectations, analytical criteria and intended sales market. Share any retailer specification at the start.
Approve the packaging
Select the container, closure, fill weight and case count. Review the artwork against the actual printable area and agreed pack.
Confirm market details
Agree label information, languages, codes, documentation responsibilities and buyer approval before printing.
Release the order
Confirm the commercial terms and production schedule, then work from the approved product and packaging specification.
For a new brand, begin with one clear combination of honey type, pack size and target customer. For an established importer, provide an existing specification or reference pack so we can assess the required match. Custom tooling or unusual packaging should be evaluated before a launch date is committed.
Industries and buyers we supply
| Buyer | Likely requirement | Include in your enquiry |
|---|---|---|
| Importers and distributors | Export-ready packs for onward distribution. | Destination, port, channel, pack size and order forecast. |
| Supermarkets and retail chains | Private-label or retail honey with consistent presentation. | Product brief, shelf format, case count and supplier-approval requirements. |
| Wholesalers and cash-and-carry | Commercial case quantities and appropriate pack sizes. | Preferred assortment, target purchase quantity and packing configuration. |
| Hotels, restaurants and catering | Portion-controlled or foodservice packs. | Serving format, portion weight and distribution arrangement. |
| Bakeries and food manufacturers | Honey used as an ingredient. | Process application, honey specification and bulk handling needs. |
| Brand owners | Contract processing and branded packaging. | Brand brief, artwork status, selected format and intended launch timing. |
Tell us how the honey will be used, not only how much you need. A squeeze bottle for retail and a container for a bakery can require different packaging decisions even when the honey specification is similar.
Honey export from India
Aspire International currently exports honey to more than 20 countries. We work with international buyers on product specifications, packaging and documentation for their destination. Export supply begins with market and importer requirements, rather than an assumption that one label or document set works everywhere.
- Destination: identify the country, port and importer before finalising the offer.
- Product: agree the honey variety, analytical requirements and any buyer-specific acceptance criteria.
- Label: confirm the required language, product description, net quantity and responsible business details.
- Documentation: confirm the applicable invoice, packing list, transport, origin and any required inspection or health documentation.
- Shipment: agree delivery terms, case configuration and any pallet requirements.
Document requirements vary by shipment and destination. Share your importer’s checklist early so responsibilities and timing can be incorporated into the quotation. A production lead time should be kept separate from ocean transit and destination clearance.
How to choose the best honey factory for your order
The best fit is the factory that can substantiate your required product, packing and delivery specification. Compare evidence and responsibilities alongside price. Broad claims such as “premium” or “export quality” are less useful than a clear answer to the following questions.
- Who makes and packs the product? Establish the legal entity and actual manufacturing address.
- Does certification cover the operation? Review the certificate scope and current validity.
- What honey are you buying? Agree the variety, origin claims, sample and measurable specification.
- What testing supports the order? Define the required reports and who arranges any additional analyses.
- Can the packaging be repeated? Confirm container, closure, label and carton specifications.
- How is the order traced? Ask how finished codes connect to production and incoming honey lots.
- What starts the delivery clock? Confirm order, artwork, material and payment milestones in writing.
Compare quotations on the same basis: honey specification, net quantity, pack material, units per case, testing, documentation and delivery terms. A low unit price can be misleading if it refers to a different container, product requirement or freight basis.
MOQ, lead time and honey pricing
Usual MOQ
Usually one 20-foot container. The minimum order depends on packaging style; confirm requirements for individual formats and any mixed-SKU order.
Usual lead time
Usually 21 days from order placement. Confirm the schedule for your order, including artwork and packaging readiness. Shipping transit is additional.
Quotation basis
Honey variety, pack size, container and closure, label, case count, testing requirements, destination and delivery terms influence the quotation.
We quote against your requirement rather than publishing a single honey price that cannot represent every pack and destination. If your packaging choice is still open, describe your target channel and preferred net weight so suitable options can be discussed.
For “let us contact you,” email your name, company, country, telephone number and preferred contact time with your product brief. The team will have the information needed to respond; no web form submission is required on this page.
