Honey Company in India | Private Label | Aspire International

An engineering-led honey company for private-label and global B2B supply

Aspire International is a honey company in Mohali, Punjab, India, combining scientific beekeeping, honey sourcing, processing, bottling and export supply. We work with private-label brands, importers, wholesalers, supermarket buyers and foodservice businesses that need a defined honey specification and packaging suited to their market.

Our business began with food-grade PET bottles, jars and corrugated shipping cartons. That packaging foundation expanded into honey bottling, commercial supply and international sales. Today, our work connects small company apiaries and a wider beekeeper sourcing network with honey processing and finished-pack development.

20+ countries

Current honey export reach, supported by buyer-specific product and packaging requirements.

FSSC 22000

A certified food manufacturing system for honey and fruit jams.

Engineering + beekeeping

Mechanical engineering, trained beekeeping and experienced honey-industry mentorship inform our approach.

What does a honey company do?

A honey company can bring together beekeeping, responsible sourcing, ethical harvesting, processing, packaging and sales. Bees produce the honey; the company prepares and supplies it for commercial use. The terms honey producer, manufacturer, bottler and supplier describe different responsibilities, so buyers should ask which activities a business carries out itself.

Business typePrimary roleWhat a buyer should clarify
Honey producer / beekeeperManages colonies and harvests honey.Whether honey comes from its own bee farm, other apiaries, or both.
Honey manufacturer / processorPrepares harvested honey for an agreed finished specification.Processing controls, batch identification and release requirements.
Honey bottler / packerFills and closes retail, portion or bulk packs.Pack compatibility, fill quantity, closure and coding controls.
Honey supplier / traderArranges commercial supply; may also manufacture. The actual manufacturing site and responsibility for quality records.

Aspire International combines its own small-apiary harvesting with honey collected through sourcing relationships. Our commercial offering includes processing, honey bottling, private-label packing and export supply; we do not represent all supplied honey as coming from company-owned hives.

Who is behind Aspire International?

Ankit Pal Singh · Founder

A mechanical engineer and trained beekeeper, Ankit founded Aspire International in 2021. His experience spans packaging design, production operations, quality systems and international sales. He is also trained as a Preventive Controls Qualified Individual through FSPCA.

Mr S P Singh · Director and mentor

Founder of Ess Pee Quality Products, Mr S P Singh brings more than 30 years of honey-industry experience to his role as director and mentor at Aspire International. His experience informs the company’s approach to honey quality and manufacturing discipline.

Aspire International was established under the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), implemented through KVIC under the Ministry of MSME, Government of India. This describes the company’s enterprise-development background; the practical manufacturing proposition is built around engineering, food safety and packaging capability.

Our engineering approach considers the complete product: honey characteristics, process handling, bottle and closure selection, filling performance, secondary packaging and export handling. For a private-label buyer, these decisions need to work together before commercial production begins.

Honey manufacturer and supplier in India: where our honey comes from

Aspire International is based in Mohali, Punjab. Our sourcing relationships extend across Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Haryana and other Indian regions. India’s varied agricultural and floral environments offer opportunities for different honey profiles; the actual variety and availability must be confirmed for the proposed lot.

Alongside scientific beekeeping and harvesting in our own small apiaries, we work with beekeepers and agricultural partners. Responsible sourcing means looking beyond the purchase price to apiary hygiene, colony care, harvest handling, treatment practices and source identification.

  • Encourage harvesting that preserves adequate reserves for the bee colony.
  • Promote clean extraction, suitable food-grade containers and careful transport.
  • Maintain communication about crop treatments and potential contamination risks.
  • Connect sourcing information with raw-material and production records.

For an importer, sourcing from India should begin with a clear specification and a review of the proposed manufacturer. Geography alone does not establish purity, product consistency or suitability for your destination market. Ask for the origin information and quality documentation relevant to your order.

Bulk, retail, private-label and single-serve honey

Bulk and wholesale honey

For distributors, repackers and food manufacturers buying commercial quantities. Specify your intended use, receiving format and analytical requirements. Discuss export supply requirements.

Retail honey

Bottled honey for supermarket shelves, distributors and store brands. Select the net weight, bottle shape, closure, label area and carton configuration. View retail packaging options.

Single-serve honey

Portion formats for hospitality, breakfast service and controlled dispensing, including honey spoon and blister options. Explore portion packaging.

Start with how the product will be used. A retail buyer may prioritise shelf presentation and barcode placement, while a bakery needs a practical receiving pack and a dependable ingredient specification. Hospitality buyers need a portion that fits the service occasion. These differences shape the packing brief, order quantity and quotation.

Honey types and varieties available for buyer enquiries

Our honey offering includes multiflora, acacia, litchi and forest honey enquiries. Harvest conditions and sourcing availability influence the lots available for each order. Confirm the variety, origin and supporting specification before approving a label or making a floral-origin claim.

Honey descriptionBuyer applicationSpecification to agree
Multiflora honeyEveryday retail, foodservice and ingredient use.Acceptable colour, flavour profile and batch consistency.
Acacia honeyA named floral honey range.Floral identity and supporting lot documentation.
Litchi honeyA floral-origin retail or private-label range.Seasonal availability and evidence supporting the description.
Forest honeyA range positioned around a forest sourcing environment.Actual origin and whether the proposed product is nectar honey, honeydew honey or a blend.
Bee honeyA general description of honey made by bees. The specific honey type; this is not a separate floral variety.

Codex links floral-origin descriptions to the honey’s source and corresponding characteristics. A product name should therefore follow the evidence for the lot, rather than the appearance of the honey alone. [1]

How our honey processing and bottling work

Honey processing prepares an agricultural raw material for consistent commercial packing. Aspire International’s approach focuses on controlled handling, filtration, moisture control and filling. The exact processing conditions and release specification should be agreed for the selected product; no single temperature claim describes every honey or production step.

  1. Source and receive

Identify the incoming honey and its sourcing records so that the raw material can be assessed before production.

  2. Assess the lot

Review the honey against the agreed raw-material and buyer requirements. Clarify any additional testing before committing the batch.

  3. Condition and filter

Use controlled warming where needed for handling and filling, with attention to exposure time as well as temperature. Filtration removes unwanted physical matter.

  4. Control moisture and consistency

Assess moisture and prepare the batch to the approved specification. Record the relevant process and quality checks.

  5. Fill, close and identify

Pack into the selected food-grade format. Filling, closure integrity, label correctness and lot coding are part of the finished-pack brief.

  6. Review and prepare for dispatch

Check the finished order against the approved product, packaging and documentation requirements before export preparation.

If your brand requires “low-temperature processed” or “raw” honey, specify the proposed claim before ordering and request evidence for the actual process. We avoid assigning an unsupported temperature threshold to the whole factory. Filtration also does not replace authenticity or residue assessment.

How we approach honey purity and consistency

Aspire International focuses on defined specifications, documented processes, traceability and measurable quality checkpoints. A useful quality conversation separates the factory’s management system from the analytical results and packing checks applicable to the honey you are buying.

Quality checkpointWhat to agree with AspireWhy it matters
Moisture contentThe previously specified target is 17–18%; confirm it for the selected product and batch.Provides a measurable purchasing and release criterion.
HMFA previously specified target is below 40 mg/kg; confirm the applicable specification and report.Helps assess the honey’s condition alongside other quality parameters.
Adulteration assessmentAgree the analytical scope, methods, laboratory and testing frequency.A general purity statement should be supported by relevant evidence.
Residues and contaminantsIdentify destination-specific requirements and agree the testing scope.Requirements need to be reflected in the sourcing and release brief.
TraceabilityRequest how source lots, production batches and dispatch records connect.Supports investigation and identification of supplied product.
Packaging checksAgree fill quantity, closure or seal checks, label review and lot coding. The finished pack must meet the same brief as the honey inside.

The moisture and HMF figures above are company specification targets, not test results for an unsampled order. Codex gives a general moisture ceiling of 20% for most honey; its voluntary commercial annex gives an HMF benchmark of 40 mg/kg, with an 80 mg/kg provision for declared tropical-origin honey and blends. Your agreed specification and destination requirements must be reviewed together. [1]

Request the relevant certificate of analysis and clarify what was tested. We do not present a home purity test, a colour judgement or an unspecified laboratory check as proof of every possible authenticity concern. Explore quality and food safety.

FSSC 22000, registrations and manufacturing evidence

FSSC 22000-certified system

Aspire International operates an FSSC 22000-certified food manufacturing system for honey and fruit jams. Buyers can request the current certificate and review its site, scope and validity. About the FSSC 22000 scheme.

U.S. FDA registration

Aspire International has U.S. FDA food facility registration. Registration is distinct from FDA approval or endorsement of a facility or product. FDA registration information.

APEDA registration

Aspire International is registered with APEDA, India. Request relevant registration documentation during supplier onboarding and confirm the documents needed for your transaction.

Manufacturing evidence helps a buyer understand who will process and pack the order. Gulfood lists Aspire International as an exhibitor describing honey processing, private labelling and contract manufacturing, and hosts a factory-video page. These public references complement a direct review of the factory’s current documents.

Private-label and OEM honey: your brand, a defined manufacturing brief

Private-label honey means honey supplied in packaging carrying your brand. Aspire International works with brand owners, supermarket sourcing teams and distributors on product specifications, pack selection, artwork requirements, case configuration and export preparation.

Define the product

Choose the honey type, desired profile, quality parameters and intended market. Confirm any label claims before artwork approval.

Engineer the pack

Agree net weight, material, shape, closure and dispensing method. Consider how the pack will be filled, handled, transported and used.

Approve the presentation

Coordinate brand artwork, mandatory information, barcode placement and shipping-case details with the buyer’s destination requirements.

An attractive jar is only one part of the project. The label must fit the usable surface, the closure must suit the bottle, and the case must protect the agreed pack count. Aspire’s packaging-manufacturing background allows these questions to be considered as part of one commercial brief.

For custom ideas, share a drawing, reference pack or intended use. The team can review development requirements before confirming feasibility, minimum quantity and timing. A newly developed pack may follow a different schedule from an established format. Read more about private-label supply.

Honey packaging options for retail, wholesale and hospitality

Our portfolio includes glass and PET jars, squeeze formats, portion packs and larger foodservice containers. Availability, net weight and minimum order depend on the selected configuration. Use the table to shortlist a format before requesting the current packaging offer.

Honey export from India for international commercial buyers

Aspire International currently exports honey to more than 20 countries. Our international offer includes private-label retail honey, wholesale supply, foodservice formats and bulk enquiries. Shipment suitability is reviewed for the destination and the product configuration requested.

Export preparation should begin with the destination country and buyer’s requirements. Product specifications, label information, case markings, analytical documentation and shipping terms all need to be settled before dispatch. A certificate used for supplier onboarding is not a substitute for shipment-specific documents.

  • Destination: country, delivery point or port, and importer details.
  • Product: honey variety, agreed quality specification and packaging.
  • Documents: confirm invoice, packing list, origin documentation, analytical reports and any destination-specific certificates required for the shipment.
  • Commercial terms: agree the quoted delivery basis, payment terms and responsibility for freight and import clearance.

We invite buyers to discuss market-specific needs early, particularly for new artwork or special testing. Export experience supports the project, while the final shipment still needs to meet its own approved requirements. Explore export supply from Aspire International.

How to choose the best honey company for your business

The best honey company for your order is the one that can demonstrate a match between your product specification, quality expectations, packaging and supply requirements. Compare evidence and responsibilities rather than relying on broad ranking claims.

  1. Identify the manufacturing site. Ask who processes and packs the honey and who takes responsibility for the finished order.
  2. Review current certification. Check the named site, activity scope and validity of the certificate.
  3. Agree measurable quality requirements. Define moisture, relevant analytical criteria and the documentation you expect.
  4. Check sourcing and traceability. Ask how the lot can be connected to raw materials and dispatch records.
  5. Assess the complete package. Review a representative pack, closure, label and shipping case against your intended use.
  6. Compare quotations on the same basis. Align product, net weight, pack count, testing, quantity and delivery terms.
  7. Confirm timing and change control. Establish what happens if artwork, packaging or order details change after approval.

When evaluating Aspire International, use the same checklist. Share your onboarding requirements with us so that the discussion addresses the evidence your procurement and quality teams actually need.

MOQ, lead time and honey pricing

Ordering questionPlanning guidance
What is the usual MOQ?Usually one 20-foot container. MOQ depends on packaging style; confirm the exact configuration and whether any alternative quantity is available.
What is the usual lead time?Usually 21 days from order placement. Confirm the agreed schedule, packaging availability and artwork requirements with the team.
Does that include ocean transit?Production lead time should be distinguished from freight transit and customs clearance. Confirm delivery timing in the quotation.
How much does the honey cost?Pricing is quoted for the honey specification, packaging, net weight, quantity, testing scope and delivery terms.
Can I order a custom format?Send the concept for feasibility review. Development, tooling or special materials may affect quantity, cost and timing.

For a meaningful price comparison, request offers against the same written specification. A price per jar cannot be compared fairly without checking net weight, bottle material, closure, label, units per case and shipping basis. Ask the team to identify what is included in the quoted price.

If your planned quantity is below the usual container order, state it clearly. The team can review the request; this page does not promise a smaller MOQ or mixed-container arrangement.
